The Mississippi Gospel Choir, made up of around twenty of the finest voices in Black music, aims to spread the festive spirit of gospel to all attendees through a musical journey across the genre’s most iconic songs.
The concert features classic gospel repertoire, from 19th-century spirituals, rooted in the origins of the music, to tributes to protest songs and freedom marches. The program includes timeless favorites like ‘Oh Happy Day!’, enriched with the rhythms of funk and blues.
