If you're a Dire Straits fan, welcome to Alchemy Project, the tribute band that recreates Mark Knopfler's brilliant Dire Straits compositions with the utmost fidelity in sound, instrumentation, and stage presence. With a long and internationally acclaimed career, thanks to their impeccable stage presence, they transport you to the legendary concerts of the British band, such as "Alchemy Live" and "Wembley '85," with a show full of emotion and musical quality that will make you relive those wonderful years.
It's worth noting that Alchemy Project's lead singer and guitarist, Roberto Sánchez (in the role of Mark Knopfler), is supported by original bassist and co-founder of Dire Straits, John Illsley, who personally chose Sánchez to open for the band on their 12-concert tour across Spain in 2019.
In addition to the full Alchemy concert (featuring classics like Sultans of Swing and Romeo & Juliet), the tribute band's repertoire will also include iconic tracks from later eras, such as Brothers In Arms, Money for Nothing, Your Latest Trick, The Man's Too Strong, Walk Of Life, and So Far Away, making for an impressive 2.5-hour show.
